As one of America’s most trusted companies, Scotts Miracle-Gro has grown to be a household staple and needed to evolve their digital presence and persona to match.

With an on-going strategic partnership with Scotts, we developed an extremely thorough brand strategy that would push Scotts into a new space for not only e-commerce across all their brands, but also to be positioned more as an educational tool to their user. Working alongside their in-house team, we helped them create a complex but easy to use design system that would span across each of their brands to create consistency, while still giving them creative flexibility to be their own brand.
Dynamic Design System
Scotts wanted to create educational messaging that was relevant to their consumers across the country, even though they live in different grow zones and climates. We created a dynamic design system that used internal weather data to deliver hyper-specific content to users at the perfect time, helping to engage, educate, and convert consumers.

This project was designed with the following team at Wondersauce as well as partnering with the development team at Scotts Miracle-Gro. It was a multi-year engagement where I was the main design and UX lead. As this project evolved over the years, I worked in a direct partnership with the Scotts Miracle-Gro digital experience team to create a nimble workflow that could suite their needs in their ever evolving business.
